A convenient way to refresh air

A convenient way to refresh air

Have you ever heard of adiabatic cooling? Probably this word will not tell you much, but in this article you will learn about what could be an interesting and economic solution to freshen up from the next summer heat that, despite the cold of the last few days, be sure of it, it will soon be here.

Adiabatic cooling

This term describes a very simple and effective hot air cooling process; in adiabatic or evaporative cooling, heat is removed from the air, making it cooler as it is used to evaporate microscopic drops of water.
It is a totally natural mechanism, the very same one at the basis of human sweating, when water particles on our skin evaporate through the heat provided by our body, cooling it down.
This principle is applicable to outdoor environments where ultra-thin water drops evaporate and rapidly absorb the heat of the surrounding environment, becoming water vapor.
A sustainable and ecological system, able to refresh very large open air spaces, with a lower energy consumption than common air conditioners and that does not use chemicals or coolants products. Moreover it brings many other advantages, for example it captures dust and pollen in the air and, with the use of specific products, it can also be used to eliminate mosquitoes and annoying insects.
The micro-misting of the water causes particles of fine dust to fall to the ground, making a purer air and, with the same principle, also contributing to the elimination of unpleasant smells.

Where can it be used?

This principle has many applications both in the private sector and in industry, tourism and hospitality. It is used for example in production chains, to cool rooms where large machines work, but also for storing fruit and vegetables, which in this way stay fresh for a long time, or for example in wineries, where it allows to refresh the environment and at the same time to control its humidity according to the need, or even in farms where it creates a cool and ventilated environment and contributes to the reduction of animals’ stress, increasing their production.

Mistscaping

The mist created by this plant, possibly accompanied by a fountain, can refresh, and create fun and entertainment if accompanied by plays of light and color with truly evocative special and scenographic effects.
A mist system consists of a high-pressure pump and a circuit of special spray nozzles, which create millions of droplets with an average size of less than 10 microns. The use of intelligent pumps, which alternate moments of pause and work, regulates this micro-mist with very low energy and water consumption and, above all, with the possibility of precisely controlling the level of environmental humidity. A plant of this kind must be visually discreet and the effect of the micro drops of water must be extremely thin. For this it is necessary to use special high quality nozzles that spray water without dripping, therefore without producing a “wet” effect.

The implants must be equipped with bacteria prevention systems for diseases such as Legionella and Salmonella. Special tools are essential, such as antibacterial filters with super thin nets and ultraviolet sterilizers.

Could this be the solution you were looking for to refresh (and enhance) your open air space?
