Waterfall- Erbil

A major waterfall that covers 36 linear meters along Rozh villa livingroom terrace, and an infinity pool on the Erbil sunset. Water is an integral part of the interior and exterior of the house, it is the primordial element that unites all environments generating emotions. Great, fresh, fluid, this fountain looks like a mirage in the desert.

Fresh white foam plays contrasting with the texture in black basalt and cascades into a vast pool and naturalized with large river stones.

From the terrace and from inside the villa you can appreciate the delicacy of the Infinity pool, where the landscape and the sunset over the city of Erbil in Iraqi Kurdistan reflect. The project is by Cracknell, among the most important architects of the Middle East landscape. Forme d’Acqua was appointed by Falcon Construction for supplying the technological design and develop the four aquatic environments of the landscape. Careful design and technology enable Forme d’Acqua to obtain excellent aesthetic results, high efficiency and to reduce the consumption. In order to move 480,000 liters / hour we did not use a single large pump with exaggerated consumption, but we had rather 12 OASE Professional 40000 Aquamax pumps: silent, submerged, and with stabilized temperature, provided with an internal thermal protection and with a consumption of only 1100 Kw / h each. This allowed us to use pipes of diam. 63 mm and 25 mm IP68 electrical cable ducts, thus containing the concrete thicknesses too.

The water is always clear, crystalline, because filtered with an automatic timed Astrapool facility, with glass filter bottom with three grain sizes and dosing pumps provided with pH and Rx probe for limestone and algae control. The sensor OASE Living Water WSS 20-4 combined with 4-way Lovato LVM 40 level control unit, ensures automatic fresh water inlet, without wastefulness and protecting all pumps in case of water absence.
