Water Garden – Erbil

Water Garden completes, together with Waterfall, River and Roundabout, the complex project realized for a private villa in Erbil, in Iraqi Kurdistan, together with the Cracknell studio from Dubai, one of the most important landscaping architecture firms of the Middle East. Forme d'Acqua took care of the technological planning and the realization of the fountain.

The compositional lines that give shape to this aquatic space of great effect are extremely pure. This is also evident looking at the linearity of the white stone steps, which fragment the regular space of the water surface, creating visual paths, polarized by the beautiful italian olive tree.

The spaces geometry is enhanced by the vitality of the nature’s colors: it is a real natural lake with fish and plants, which will develop through time and will colonize the aquatic habitat, adding to the composition the variable beauty of natural forms . Water Garden is designed for the water used to be pure and, above all, to allow life. It has a  surface of 12 x 6 meters, with a total volume of about 80 square meters of water and is equipped with a double bottom system, that regulates the temperature, keeping the water cool also in the Kurdistan environment that in the hottest days can easily reach 45 celsius degrees. The technology we used is Oase, as we do for all our projects.

We use Oase for the quality and reliability of its products. For Water Garden we used a Biotech Screenmatic filtration system with sponges and activated carbon, governed by two submerged Aquamax Ecopremium pumps, while water sterilization is performed by a 110 watt Bitron C self-cleaning lamp with UV rays. This allows us to give our customers an important added value: the "Acqua Limpida Oase" guarantee, a certification that guarantees the purity of the water.

It is therefore a very impressive aquatic space, designed to be functional and to have very few maintenance requirements, to be carried out simply and quickly.
