Roundabout
Private villa, Erbil, Iraqi Kurdistan

Description
Strolling up the long porphyry boulevard across the park, you arrive at the entrance of the villa, where the "Roundabout", a majestic and iconic fountain, welcomes the visitor.   In the center of the oval plan, an impressive natural fossil sculpture temporarily replaces a "Force of Nature", the bronze sculpture by Lorenzo Quinn expected in the project.
From the top of the fountain, completely covered with slate, the water evenly coats across the oval perimeter, creating a sophisticated mirror effect that reflects the sculpture and amplifies its presence. The spotlights in stainless steel AISI316, randomly built in, create the effect of a starry sky reflected in the water, which looks up and illuminates the artwork.
The lower level of the fountain is made up of a water pool that also becomes a submerged technical room where 24 OASE Cascade 70 T. nozzles are randomly displayed. 5 OASE Aquamax Expert 40000 submersible pumps recirculate, totally in silence, 200,000 liters of water per hour with a consumption of only 5.5 Kw / h.   Roundabout together with River, Waterfall and Water Garden, complete the extensive landscape project for a villa in Iraqi Kurdistan designed by Cracknell, a leading architectural practice in Dubai, where Forme d'Acqua has handled the technological design and the implementation.
