Indoor water wall – Cappellin dental clinic, Turin

In the fascinating world of interior design, we often find ourselves collaborating with real spearheads: excellences that stand out for their extraordinary ability to combine research, functionality, experimentation and elegance. For these projects, the inclusion of a blue spot is increasingly proving to be a determining factor in their success: the water walls are furnishing elements of extreme elegance and refinement, a "wow effect" that makes the he environment, both residential and corporate, because it reconnects us to our true nature. In this new project Forme d'Acqua Venice Fountains has designed and built a wall-mounted waterfall with an elegant and refined design, a point of attraction and at the same time an element that infuses well-being and relaxation, thanks to the delicate sound of flowing water immersed in a warm environment, given by the chromatic combinations of natural shades. The assignment was entrusted by the architect Roberta Tricca, who was responsible for the design and construction supervision of the new headquarters of the Cappellin Dental Clinic: an avant-garde studio with modern, bright and welcoming environments of over 500m² on the twelfth floor of the prestigious Palazzo Lancia in Turin. The waterfall has a 1.92m high and 1.58m wide with a white onyx-effect texture, the ideal material to enhance the strength and sumptuousness of the surrounding space. The wall is lit from below by a White 3000k IP68 resin LED bar, which highlights the water's slight movement and attracts the guests' attention. The shell is in grey powder coated AISI316L steel, entirely designed and made to measure to fully harmonize with the context, creating a unicum in the subdivision of the spaces that lead from the entrance to the waiting room. The shell also covers the overflow and collection pools, showing and enhancing the sliding surface alone. The collection pool is covered by a perforated plate that absorbs splashes and noise, which isolates the surface from the bottom, where the technical part is installed, consisting of an automatic low energy consumption filtration system, with control and injection of anti-algae products and anti-limestone and automatic mechanical filling system for the replenishment of evaporated water. The fountain always uses the same water that overflows from above, covers the entire wall and is collected from the lower basin, all through perfect control of the movement of the water, which guarantees the total absence of splashes. For the arch. Tricca the primary objective of this ambitious project was to create - through the choice of original and refined materials - a welcoming "box", which would frame the dental equipment: each studio is characterized by a wall with personalized wallpaper, an elegant but fun element in contrast with the technology of dental units.
