Murano and its one thousand years old glass art celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy witha new and collective work of art, where craftsmanship meets technological and eco-friendly innovation.“Giardino Italia” is an initiative promoted and realised by Consorzio Promovetro Murano, in collaboration with Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia, project and design arch. Simona M. Favrin. Made of 150 glass elements, all of them set on a metal structure, realised by Consorzio Promovetro's associated companies which are bearer of the Vetro Artistico® Murano trademark. It has a solar panel storage system, working through battery that gives white-led light to the installation, during night hours.
