Floor fountain – Union Lido Campsite (VE)

The Union Lido campsite, one of the most important and historic realities of open air tourism in Cavallino Treporti area, commissioned to Forme d'Acqua a fountain for Piazza Venezia, a meeting place right in the heart of the structure. A static floor fountain, designed to entertain visitors with the constant movement and sound of water.

This type of fountain is suitable for public squares, shopping centers and campsites; when it is turned on, it draws the attention of adults and children, especially in the evening when it is enhanced by the effect of light. When it is off instead, it returns to being a dry space for people or cars, accessible to all and usable for events or shows.

The project realized for Union Lido is characterized by 12 jets of water with a regular height of about 160 cm each. Each nozzle is hosted in a square 20x20 cm manhole made of AISI 316 stainless steel, with a central hole for water and a drainage fissure that allows water to be collected and reused without wasting it. The water jets are created by 12 Oase Comet 10-12 T nozzles, each one is illuminated by a Oase Profilux 350 watertight IP68 spotlights with white LED light. But the heart of the fountain is the Oase Acquamax Eco Expert 44000 pump that gives life and movement to water. To ensure maximum efficiency and functionality to the project and clean water, the fountain is equipped with a filtration system for the acidification and chlorination of the water, avoiding the formation of limestone and algae. A control probe detects the level of acid and chlorine in water and, if necessary, they are reintegrated by an automatic system. In a manhole next to the fountain there is a level sensor to control the correct water level, if needed more water is put in the fountain by an automatic unit.
