  Interior designer Deniz Önel - Bespoke Interiors, a specialist in Interior & Furniture Design, chose the Cubetto fountain to complete and embellish the terrace of a majestic private penthouse in Forte dei Marmi, for which she has overseen the restyling.
Cubetto from the Solidi d’Acqua line is an infinity fountain with a simple and essential shape. It was designed by architect Simona M. Favrin - Favrin Design and handcrafted by Forme d’Acqua Venice Fountains. The structure is made of powder-coated stainless steel in corten tones to blend in with the context and offer an additional touch of style and elegance to the water flow.
The water creates a mirrored surface on the upper part of the fountain, from whose edges it overflows, covering the vertical walls until it reaches the anti-splash and anti-noise net, which also serves as a cover for the containment basin.
The Cubetto at its base hides a 12V high-energy saving pump, which acts as a water movement and recirculation system; furthermore, it is equipped with a Seasonal Flow Control (SFC) system, which intelligently regulates the quantity/head of water based on its temperature, which translates into further savings on energy costs. This system allows the continuous reuse of water, keeping it constantly clean and free from limescale deposits, thanks to a dosing system of anti-algae and anti-limescale products. The automatic loading system automatically reintegrates the evaporated water in the right proportions.
The lighting was also custom-designed for the project and features a 2700K IP 68 LED bar on a 1 cm wide square frame, whose surface is characterised by an opal resin that generates a homogeneous diffusion of light.
