They requested: peaceful, relaxing water; clean, simple lines; transparent glass; and warm light.
The setting was rather problematic, with an escalator in the background and a column in the middle. Working with the architect S. M. Favrin
, we integrated everything and proposed four columns
on one pool of water: three were smaller and more restrained, while the fourth was broader and had backlit white glass inserts
. The water spills over the top and flows slowly down the sides back into the tank. The most prominent column is in a surface made of small backlit white glass panels. The filtration and circulation systems are automatic, silent and odourless
