The Milano Design Week was born as a meeting point for the world of art, architecture and design: professionals from all over the world meet in Milan, which for a week becomes the capital of new trends in the design world.
The events are many, but the most interesting ones are the Salone del Mobile in Rho and the famous Fuorisalone, which was born as a spontaneous event, promoted independently thanks to the work of individual companies and designers throughout the city, in particular in the areas of Via Tortona and Via Brera.
Today it is considered the event with the greatest number of operators coming from all over the world, be they architects, designers or students.
Forme d’Acqua took advantage of these days not only to inaugurate its collaboration with Oh House, the technological house of the future where one of our Le Sirene is exhibited, but also to visit the Fuorisalone and also to be updated on the latest trends.
Visiting the various initiatives, we found how contemporary design is moving towards a precise direction: attention is paid to sustainability and the use of natural raw materials or in some cases from recycling, always with a taste for beauty, characterized by simple and essential lines.
These elements are carefully developed and then applied and declined according to the concept of environmental well-being.
Electric devices powered by solar energy, smart decorative self – irrigating planters of design, roof gardens designed as necessary spaces for city life and gigantic art installations able to absorb pollution and dust, these are just some of the examples encountered during the Design Week.
In such a context our Sirene fit perfectly, as they are products very attentive to environmental wellbeing. Through the evaporation process, in fact, Le Sirene are able to give off humidity, if placed in particularly dry environments and to keep it in the opposite case. The movement of water on the natural sliding surfaces also produces a slight air displacement useful to eliminate the harmful substances present in atmosphere. The psychological effect of flowing water that induces a relaxing effect is also very important.
This week spent in Milan was a further confirmation for those who, like us, dedicate their commitment to the development of sustainable projects, which not only make the spaces of our daily life more beautiful, but also contribute to live better.
This let us understand that we are on the right path!
