Forme d’Acqua has been selected for two editions of Architect@Work with two separate projects. We are going to be at Architect @ Work – Berlin on November 7th and 8th and at Architect @ Work – Milan on November 14th and 15th.
This is the most important event in Europe for design and architecture of indoor and outdoor spaces, founded in 2005 in Belgium and intended for designers, engineers, architects and professionals in the field.
Over the years it has become a real meeting point and exchange of ideas place with training sessions and seminars dedicated to specific topics, and characterized by a international aim as it takes place in different periods in Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg , France, United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Turkey and, outside Europe, Canada.
Each edition has its own jury, different for each country, which takes care of selecting and approving the proposed projects, according to criteria of innovation and quality.
In Berlin we will show Aegea, an interactive fountain from the Le Sirene collection made of a precious Amazonite on a grey shell. The fountain is illuminated by a programmable and customizable RGB LED system that can be customized in a thousand colors.
The Sirens are a new conception of fountain, with a simple and clean design, made of stainless steel AISI316. In them, water flows along surfaces made in precious marbles with various shades of color and handmade Murano glass. A highly technological product, which can be managed from a smartphone or tablet and also features a high-fidelity audio system.
In Milan instead there will be Luxury, the fountain designed by Simona M. Favrin and presented for the last edition of The Venice Glass Week, revisited in a new version.
In Luxury water slides along thin hollow steel rods, wrapping the hand-made Murano glass spheres, realized by jewellery designer Barbara Proverbio along in its path. This new version of Luxury is enriched by the pastel pink Murano glass beads created by the glass artist from Murano Alessia Fuga. The elegance of Luxury can ben found in the purity of its materials and in their relationship with light: the movement of water, illuminated by the LED system, is reflected on steel and Murano glass, creating a really unique play of light and reflections.
Two important projects for a two important appointments with the world of architecture and international design, an opportunity for networking and an occasione for professional update.
